Located in historic Monroe Township NJ, the Furniture Works has provided
a full line of furniture repairs, refinishing and restoration services
since 1975. While specializing in 19th century restoration, the
Furniture Works has restored pieces from the 1700’s up through the years
to the Mid Century Modern sets so popular in the 1960’s.
Refinishing of fine antiques requires the expertise of a trained artisan
who can determine the approach needed and the materials to be used to
restore the natural beauty of the wood. There are hundreds of scenarios
where only an experienced craftsman possesses the skill set necessary to
repair and refinish fine furniture.
